We’re excited to share this proposal exploring the potential for a collaboration between Tourism New Zealand and ASCEND Television (ASCEND) — positioning New Zealand as the ultimate summer destination for our North American audience of travelers and adventure seekers.
Our vision is to showcase New Zealand through the eyes of local or professional athletes, highlighting its world-class summer adventures, stunning landscapes, diverse outdoor activities, and vibrant culture — while weaving in the personal stories that make these experiences truly special.
This project proposal is built as a genuine partnership, delivering cinematic, high-impact content and exceptional value to our destination collaborators. Deliverables include:
Production of one or more full ASCEND episodes filmed in New Zealand to air on Outside TV
National broadcast on Outside TV in the U.S. market, with a minimum audience of 528,000 viewers per episode
Option for integrated advertising with call-to-action messaging, reaching 1.9 million outdoor enthusiasts per month
Creation of social media clips and promotional content
Delivery of all raw footage for license-free use to Tourism New Zealand
