We’re excited to present this proposal for a collaboration between Destination Northern Ontario and ASCEND Television (ASCEND), designed to showcase Northern Ontario as one of Canada’s most exceptional year-round adventure destinations to our large audience of outdoor-focused travelers across the U.S., Canada, and internationally.

Our vision is to highlight Northern Ontario through the perspective of a local or professional athlete, capturing the region’s vast landscapes, diverse seasonal activities, and authentic northern culture. From summer adventures such as paddling, hiking, biking, fishing, and exploring vibrant communities, to winter experiences like skiing, snowmobiling, and snowy wilderness travel, the episode will present Northern Ontario as a destination defined by adventure in every season. Through cinematic storytelling and genuine personal narratives, ASCEND will showcase the scale, beauty, and unique character that make Northern Ontario a must-visit destination for adventure seekers year-round.

This proposal is designed as a true partnership, delivering high-impact, cinematic content and exceptional long-term value to Destination Northern Ontario.

Deliverables include:

• Production and distribution of one or more full ASCEND episode filmed in Northern Ontario

• National broadcast on Outside TV in the U.S. market, reaching a minimum of 528,000 viewers per episode

• Optional integrated advertising and call-to-action messaging, with access to 1.9 million outdoor-focused viewers per month

• Creation of social media clips and promotional assets

• Delivery of all raw footage for license-free use by Destination Northern Ontario for future marketing needs
